Angiography

Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) is a specialized imaging technique that uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to provide detailed visualization of the body’s blood vessels (arteries and veins).

Usage of MRA

MRA is used for the diagnosis and monitoring of conditions affecting blood vessels, such as:

01

Aneurysms

– Bulging of a blood vessel wall.

02

Stenosis

– Narrowing or blockage of arteries and veins.

03

Atherosclerosis

– Buildup of plaque on artery walls.

04

Venous thrombosis

– Blood clot formation within a vein.

05

Vessel dissection

– A tear in the inner lining of an artery.

06

Arteriovenous malformations

– Abnormal connections between arteries and veins.

05

Peripheral vascular disease

– Impaired blood flow to the limbs.

Magnetic resonance angiography is a safe, accurate, and non-invasive method for diagnosing and monitoring vascular diseases, providing high diagnostic value without radiation.
