Angiography is a test that takes pictures of blood vessels. It is a very specialised examination which studies the vessels of the body (brain, head and neck, carotid arteries, limbs, etc.). At the Medical Imaging Diagnostic Centre this is done by specially trained doctors, with long experience in the field.

Angiography is performed to check the vessels in order to make a diagnosis and to study their anatomical architecture and other details necessary for a possible operation. It can be carried out in a variety of ways and there are several technical methods.
